Camiguin Island is a province lies along Bohol Sea in Northern Mindanao Islands in the Philippines. The province is famous for it's picturesque land and seascapes, and not to mention the sweet lanzones that are abundant in the island.
It was in August 2010 when we visited the Camiguin Islands. There are several ways to visit the island and we chose the way from the province of Cagayan de Oro city. A one hour plane ride from Manila to Laguindingan Airport, then shuttle to Agora Terminal. Then anothen van or bus all the way to the Balingoan Port to send you to Camiguin Port.

| Walkway to the Station of the Cross is the place for Catholics and non-Catholics who wanted to trek and experience a long walk in the life-size station of the cross. |

| It's an exhausting one hour trek up to the top of the hill. Make sure to bring extra clothes and water when you visit the place. |

| The Old Guiob Church Ruins is a historic landmark because it was destroyed by Mt. Vulcan in 17th century. |

| The Sunken Cemetery is the only memory of once an active cemetery before the birth of Mt. Vulcan in 1871. |

| The powdery sands of Camiguin's White Island is truly a main attraction in Camiguin Island just a few minutes away from the main island. |

| Katibawasan falls is just few kilometers from the Municipality of Mambajao. |

| The majestic 70-meter high falls was also surrounded by trees. |

| Monkeys are also staying at the area with souvenir shops available. |

| Camiguin is also famous in their Giant Clam sanctuary in Barangay Cantaan. |
 |
| The area provides educational tour of the importance of raising the clams and how it helps the balance of nature. A man-made pool was made to raise more clams. |

| Some of the clams can reach as much as 4 feet and weighs more than 450 pounds. |
Camiguin is also known for their annual Lanzones Festival held in October. The month is also known as the harvest season of their priced export - lanzones.
